I would like to thank all the people who took the time and concern about these two lovely pets. They were both adopted into the same family so they will be able to stay together. It was the hardest thing i have ever had to do, but I am hoping and praying it was the best thing for my babies. Thank you, Rescue Me!

I am so glad I used Rescue Me. So many people wanted to help. I placed my dog the same day!

A few weeks ago I found a stray dog wandering the streets and I decided to take her in because of an incident that occurred between her and my neighbors, but finally, after a few weeks of waiting to see if someone was interested in adopting Coco because I couldn't afford to be her permanent owner I finally received an e-mail. A couple were interested in Coco and yesterday they came to see Coco and adopted her. I was jubilant that finally Coco could have a permanent loving family; someone to take care of her and love her forever. And I am sure that Coco is jubilant as well, after most likely been abused and neglected by her past owners, wandering the streets alone, and getting beat up by some neighbors with a belt, she finally has someone that will always love her. I am crying of joy. Thank you, Rescue Me.

Wow - I have been really impressed with Rescue Me! I have received several inquiries, and had two of my precious rescue babies adopted. It is nice to have a source which is easy to use, and successful in it's mission to help dogs and dog owners. Keep up the good work!

Patch went to a lovely couple. I had so many enquiries, they don't seem to have any whippets here in Queensland. I would recommend this service to others.

I cannot believe how fast I found a home for a Whippet I rescued just yesterday. The Rescue Me! website was fantastic, and connected me with so many potential people willing to adopt her. I will recommend this website to all my friends, and when we are ready to adopt I will start here. Piper has found her furrever home!!

Ella, our adorable and energy filled whippet mix, found her forever home! A loving couple saw her on Rescue Me! and fell in love with her immediately! About a week later, they came by and met her and said they would love to see how she does with their two cats at home. The next day, Ella made herself right at home! We made the adoption official the next day, and she was so happy to be with her new Mom and Dad. Thank you Rescue Me!! Very grateful, C. Clute

Thanks to Rescue Me!, I was able to find a great home for Lusi. She is now in Omaha, Nebraska with a young couple and their other rescue dog. I will miss her but I know this is best for her.

Dear Jeff, Two days after posting my sweet 5 1/2 year old whippet Remy, who has controlled epilepsy, on Rescue Me, I had 4 possible good homes for him. Narrowing it down to two after phone conversations with the prospects, it was wonderful to be able to choose the perfect new home for him. His new owner's are really excited to have this very affectionate little boy as part of the family. Thank you for making this possible. D. Hoeffner

Dear Jeff, Thanks to Rescue Me!, I placed my 12 year-old Whippet, Sassy, within one day with a loving and caring family having a wonderful history devoted to this breed. All my responses were from only the most appropriate potential folks probably because I clearly spelled out my situation that clearly showed I had but one goal in mind, Sassy's welfare. I recommend looking at Rescue Me! first and as long as possible before looking anywhere else when considering obtaining a dog. Not only did Sassy's new owners get a very special dog in great shape, but several hundred dollars worth of important, desirable, and some essential extras just for making a 200 mile round-trip to pick her up. Gratefully yours, Tim Timson

Thank You for the concern for Whippet. She found a wonderful home with a family that can give her a wonderful life. Thanks to Rescue Me she started her new life on 08/30/2012

Upon posting Tilly, I had a choice of close to 6 very good homes within and hour of posting. This story is very sad because I had found a great home for her and dropped her off yesterday. The unfortunate part was I am so heart broken that I am going to pick her up just 3 days later and Tilly will remain with me happily ever after.

My brother found this dog. My mom was fostering him. I posted him just last night and a lady came from out of town to get him this morning. She knew a lot about Whippets and he ended up not being a whippet. He was an Italian Greyhound. After seeing how sweet he was she took him anyway. Sounded like he is going to have a very nice home. Thanks

We placed our Whippet on your web site and had 3 calls in the first hour. She is going to a great home with whippet experience. The lady has had whippets, has a fenced yard and knows all about keeping whippets safe and secure. Although we can't afford much we will be donating a one time donation. Thanks for making this site available. Susan & Mark Kaufman

Hi Jeff, Rosie has found a home and it was through Rescue Me! Her new owner lives a 4 hours flight away but was on holiday with family when she saw Rosie on your site. She called me and was able to come over and see Rosie later in the week. After meeting with her and her dog we made the decision and Rosie flew out to her new home this morning. I have just spoken to her new owner and she says Rosie has settled really well into the new house and we will follow her progress via Facebook. Thanks again, Nikki

Willy found his forever home..... We had several interested folks, but they just didn't seem like good fit for Willy. So I held off until I found ' Mr. Right' for Willy. Willy has went to live in Ann Arbor Michigan ( was from Indiana) with his new forever family. His family drove over 5 hours to met us. And I have gotten some progress reports from Willy's new family. I love dogs. Willy belonged to a friend of mine whom was moving into an apartment and Willy being the young energetic man that he is would Not have been happy with apartment life. I am owned and loved by 6 of the greatest Dobermans that have ever graced this planet. Dogs are just soooo special. Thank you for your assistance.:) Bless You.

Dear Jeff I was very lucky to find a home really quickly for Banjo. He will be going to his new family in 3 weeks and although it will be a wrench to see him go I am very happy that he is going to a very good home. I was very worried about being able to re-home Banjo and the Rescue Me site made it a lot easier for me to do so. I had a lot of enquiries so obviously people are very aware of the existence of the site and I am very grateful to all those people that emailed me and phoned about Banjo. It is very hard to re-home a much loved pet but sometimes circumstances are such that you have no choice, therefore it's reassuring to know such a site exists to aid in that process. I am very grateful thank you. Kind regards Denise

I feel very fortunate to have found so many whippet people who wanted Bunny! I was heartbroken when I had to give her up after having her since a puppy (she is now 4). I am sad to have her leave me, but I believe she will be happier in her new family. I'm thankful I found this site.
