This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $225 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Introducing Letty, a lovely lanky puppy with a heart of gold. Letty is great with other dogs and wants to play with cats. She has the build of a Whippet with the tenacity of a Jack Russell Terrier. She's about 5 months old and weighs 14 pounds. This adorable gal had a tough start to life, as she was found abandoned in a rural area with deformed legs due to malnutrition. Letty is now well on the road to recovery and is ready for a forever home who will help get her the rest of the way there. She needs a family where she ... (Read More)can have lots of sunshine, exercise and good quality food. Letty is doing great with housetraining and is crate trained. Letty's favorite activity is running around with a toy, and she prefers another dog to run and chase with her. She would be best with a fenced yard so she can stretch those long legs. She's very curious and loves just checking stuff out. Letty likes sitting in your lap for short periods, and if you will play tug with her, she will be ever so happy! If you are looking for a fun and active puppy, Letty is looking for you! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Whippet in Tennessee
Whippet Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The Whippet is a small, elegant, Greyhound-like breed. Whippets are calm and affectionate. Whippets are excellent with respectful children and get along fine with dogs. A Whippet is not a good choice for a home with non-canine pets. Whippets need to be protected from extreme cold. With enough exercise, a Whippet does fine in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
